Pregnancy test (hCG)

This test is used to confirm pregnancy and can reliably be done from 10 days onward after a missed menstrual period.

Haemoglobin

Haemoglobin level is a useful test as part of a general health screen. It helps to diagnose conditions that may affect the level of the red blood cells in the body, such as anaemia (low level) or polycythaemia (high level).

Subsequently it is also used to monitor the response to treatment of these various conditions.

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)

The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test is used to diagnose diseases of the thyroid and monitor the response to treatment.
