These Website Standard Terms and Conditions written on this webpage shall manage your use of this website. These Terms will be applied fully and affect to your use of this Website. 1. About our Services

MyBloodTest.co.za is a business in the Digital Healthcare industry that facilitates pathology tests (blood and urine tests), manages orders with various pathology laboratories and stores and displays results of tests to patients (our clients).

Our testing platform and tests offered are not a substitute for seeking medical advice from a medical practitioner, especially if you are suffering from symptoms. All tests are performed through accredited laboratories and our doctors will review and interpret your results based on the information you have provided, but will not diagnose, consult or provide any form of treatment. You will be advised to seek medical care from your preferred or designated doctor for any necessary follow-up action based on the test results.

MyBloodTest.co.za does not take any responsibility for providing medical advice or diagnoses. We recommend that any results be shared with the client’s own doctor for medical advice. Nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.

2. Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 day and order confirmation confirmed by way of email and through the website. Order confirmation needs to be taken with the patient to their selected Pathology Laboratory location in order to conduct the test. Once clients have completed their tests at the Laboratory, Test results are delivered within the timeline specified on the website for the specific test that has been ordered. Clients will be notified via email when test results have been received.

3. Export restriction

The offering on this website is available to South African clients only.

4. Return and Refunds policy

The provision of services by MyBloodTest.co.za is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, MyBloodTest.co.za will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 15 % administration fee.

5. Customer Privacy policy

MyBloodTest.co.za shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). 6. Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard.

7. Card acquiring and security

Card transactions will be acquired for MyBloodTest.co.za via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

8. Customer details separate from card details

Customer details will be stored by MyBloodTest.co.za separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

10. Responsibility

MyBloodTest.co.za takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

11. Country of domicile

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and MyBloodTest.co.za chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 7200 Woodhill Lavender, Primula Road, Moreletapark, 0181, South Africa.

12. Variation

MyBloodTest.co.za may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Other than your own pathology results, under these Terms, MY BLOOD TEST and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website. You are granted limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website.

  • selling, sublicensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of SOUTH AFRICA, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in SOUTH AFRICA for the resolution of any disputes.

23. Disclaimer

The utmost care and attention has gone in to prepare the contents of this site. However, MY BLOOD TEST cannot warranty the expressions and suggestions of the contents, as well as its accuracy. In addition, to the extent permitted by the law, MY BLOOD TEST shall not be responsible for any losses and/or damages due to the usage of the information on our website.

The My Blood Test Website is a Registered Trademark with the CIPC under TRADE MARK APPLICATION NO. 2019/07002. This Trademark may not be used by any party without the written consent of MyBloodTest.co.za

Registration of this trade mark shall give no right to the exclusive use of the words "Blood Test" separately and apart from the mark.
